Nour Abo Aisha
A writer, storyteller, and journalist from Gaza, driven by a passion for creative thinking and psychological insight. As a survivor of the October 7 war, she broadcasts her lived experience into powerful narratives that center the human condition and amplify Palestinian voices.
Her work has been featured in The Guardian, Mondoweiss, The National Scotland, Prism Report, Baladi Magazine, and she is a proud member of We Are Not Numbers. Nour aspires to become a Palestinian ambassador, carrying the keffiyeh and sharing our stories with the world.
“I once dreamed of a vibrant youth full of achievements, love, flowers, and candlelight. I imagined a phase in life rich with meaning on every level. But this war took everything from me. Still, it taught me a lot. It taught me what it means to live each day as if it’s your last, to hold on to the smallest details around you. Life can disappear in the blink of an eye and turn into nothing but memory. I document what’s happening in Gaza with a free voice, from the margins. We, the people of Gaza, are not just numbers.”—inner pages, I Am Not a Number

Hot Off the Press
We’ve recently released another stunning, devastating, and heart-opening zine. I Am Not a Number is a collection of seven articles, written by Nour Abo Aisha and published in leading media outlets throughout the year. The titles of these writings correspond to the twists and turns of Apartheid Israel’s genocidal tyranny in Gaza:
I dedicate my work to the innocent souls of Gaza’s martyrs whose lives were taken unjustly, without reason or mercy.
