New Release: Last Eve in Gaza
A collection of seven poems tells the story of Eve, who fed the world from her body with love and received nothing but hurt.
Congratulations Eva Abu Mariam, whose zine released at the end of the last month. Eva is a 20-year-old young woman in Gaza, studying dentistry at Al-Azhar University, Gaza. She writes her stories and poems so they may outlive time on the pages of history. Besides being a writer, Eva is deeply involved in community work with NGOs working in Gaza.
Zine Description
This collection of seven poems tells the story of Eve, who fed the world from her body with love and received nothing but hurt. She is brave, ambitious, hopeful, with lots of dreams. It’s a story of an oppressed femininity. It’s the paradox of hope & war. The paradox which refuses to settle in.
